i have book flight to san jose costa rica, where should I go?

I would like to see volcanoes, beautiful beaches, and rain forests. going on may 31st.
would also like to plan a stop in nosara

I was in Costa Rica last year and also before I got there contact a professional company on the web, that help me with all recommendations about visiting the different places. I was two weeks and I visited the following places:

San José (The Capital) for one night. First of all we visited the Arenal Volcano Area/Rainforest, on the way to Arenal we stoped at La Paz Waterfall Gardens and another volcano name Poás, also you can do canopy, hanging bridges, Hiking and etc. Then we move to Guanacaste province, there we went Tamarindo Area that is three hours from Nosara. Near you can go to the following beaches:
Grande Beach, Junquilla Beach, Junquillal Beach, Conchal Beach, etc. The beaches are amazing, beautiful and breathtaking.

Then we flew to Tortuguero Area, there you can find amazing canals, beaches and rainforests. At the end another night in San José, with all this I have tell you will be surround by beautiful views of Costa Rica.

Help! I’m switching my flight to Costa Rica, any recommendations?

Hurricane Felix has decided to wreck my vacation plans so Im trying to come up with an alternative, and it looks like Costs Rica will be spared, does anyone have any recommendations on a nice beach resort to go spend three days, near places to go rafting or canopy tours?

Hey, Ryan.
Wow…we’re heading to Costa Rica this week, too and I was wondering about FELIX. We’re going to stay in Playa Herradura and if you’re interested here are some recommendations close to there that a friend of mine gave for me to check out (I just cut and pasted his recs from his letter – so it may sound strange):

"You really can’t go wrong going any where around that area. The place is very safe, don’t be scared to venture out. Try to get into the local feel, and don’t stay shacked up in a Marriott. There is plenty of stuff to do everywhere, do a canopy tour if you can find one; I am sure you will be able to find some info from your hotel. You can go hang gliding south of there. You can probably find a sail boat outing, the water life is incredible. Of course surfing is great!!! If you guys surf, head south to Hermosa for a day or so; but be careful the surf can get pretty big.

Be prepared to get a stomach ache after the first couple of days; bring pepto bismo or something like that. The food is incredible, but they don’t put preservatives in their food, so it takes a couple of days for your system to get used to it. Stay away from water unless it is in a bottle (most of it is). Drink lots of beer (pilsner, imperial, bavaria); try some Guaro shots (but be careful that stuff is like fire). Eat lots of fresh fish, fruits and vegetables.

Places to go: Jaco (just South) for a 1/2 day or so; just to see the crazy surf town; lots to do here. Tarcoles River (just North) is a must see, the river is full of GIANT crocodiles; people feed them from the bridge. Hermosa (South of Jaco) great surf and some nice hotels right off the road). Manuel Antonio (good bit South of Hermosa) is a beautiful National Park, you can do some fantastic nature walks/backpacking, kayak some rapids, hang glide, canopy tours; wildlife everywhere (VERY BEAUTIFUL). STAY OUT OF THE TOUR BUSSES!

If you want to go far North you can venture out to the Guanacaste Peninsula. This area of Costa is a good bid different than where you are staying. It is much more off the beaten path, fewer people and more relaxing area. Except Tamarindo which is a really cool laid back beach town. Good shops, restaurants and hotels. Whether you go here or not, I highly suggest you get out and about. The roads are much better down there now and very easy to get around; just watch out for the bus drivers! You need to get a rental truck or SUV. South of there is a town called Nosara; buried in the jungle is a hotel called Villa Taype; great place to get away, but not much around. There is a little French bakery right at a fork in the road that is out of this world."

Well….Hope that helped you as much as did me! The main resort there is the Marriott Los Suenos.

What is the flight number for Rush’s departure to Costa Rica?

Does anyone know the date of departure, and what CR radio station he will be on?

There is no date of departure. What makes you think this drug addict would tell the truth about moving to Costa Rica? This addict doesn’t tell the truth about anything else. It’s all about the ratings. The higher the addicts ratings, the more money the addict makes. SHOCK JOCK. Side note. Probably about half the people that listen to this drug addict hate him. Even though they hate this druggie, they continue to listen because of the drugsters controversial views that even drugman himself doesn’t believe. I bet if liberals stopped tuning in to dopie, dopie would become a non issue. If you don’t like the drugster, turn the drugster off and hit the drugster where it hurts him most. Drugsters wallet.

Location of seats !5c & 15D economy flight to Costa rica are they near restroom?

I would like to be near restroom and have isle seats – are these isle seats?

C is definetly an aisle seat. D is the one besides. Usually, the coach chairs start at row 12. So you would be quite near the toilet. But it all depends on the airlines (size of plane, etc) The airbus coach section begins at row 9. However, the C seat is definetly an aisle seat so you’re safe. Check on the airline’s web page, you can usually check the rows there. If not, enter your flight in travelocity and see the seat plans there.

Can I take chapstick on a flight from USA to Costa Rica?

You should check w/ the Airline or you can check the TSA.gov website for information. Last I heard, you can’t have anything liquid or with a creamy consistency. So, chapstick and/or lipstick was not permitted. Here is the link to the "prohibited and permitted" items list from the TSA: http://www.tsa.gov/travelers/airtravel/prohibited/permitted-prohibited-items.shtm
