Where is the best Canopy tour in Costa Rica?
I’m staying in Dominical until March 3 and would like to see the best of Costa Rica while I’m here.
The top 2 Canopy tours in Costa Rica are located at
1.) Monteverde –
2. Vista Los Suenos Canopy tour – ( In the Los Suenos-Jaco Beach area)
If you are staying in Dominical, Vista Los Suenos would be the closer of the two for you. (2 hours North of Dominical) You can book the Vista Los Suenos Canopy tour through the Jaco Tour Desk and get a discounted rate.Their email address is jacotourdesk@yahoo.com
I don’t know if you can change your itineray or not, but if I were you I’d cut my stay in Domincal short and spend the rest of your time up in the Playa Hermosa- Jaco Beach area as you will find a lot more to see and do there.
Safe travels and enjoy your stay in Costa Rica no matter where in the country you are.

Is Costa Rica better to tour with some school mates for a week or to study abroad by yourself for a month?
A teacher at my school and some students are going to Costa Rica for nine days during the summer. I was wondering if I should pay $1900 for this or to study abroad by myself for 27 days for $3700 and receive college credit and learn some more spanish.
If you have the time and the money, study abroad for a month. A week is fun- and you’ll travel with people you know, but you won’t have time to fully immerse yourself into the culture. During a month long stay, you’ll have more time to learn about the language, culture, and participate in local events. You might even decide you want to stay longer.
If you’re interested in looking into other study abroad programs in Costa Rica, I write for a new travel/study abroad website called Gulliver (http://www.gullivergo.com). Check out these Costa Rica programs (http://bit.ly/2Debmo). Also, if you need help preparing for your trip (housing, funding, travel info, cell phone & internet tips) visit our "Prepare to Go" section (http://www.gullivergo.com/prepare-to-go) and look up Costa Rica. Hope this helps! Have a great trip!
