What type of rice do they eat in Costa Rica?

I recently traveled to Costa Rica and stayed in a home for 2 months. I fell in love with the food! Now that I’m back in the United States I want to cook some of the food that I ate.

Does anyone know what type of rice they eat? It seemed to be longer than normal Minute Rice. Also, where can I find it in the U.S?

It is similar to Louisiana long grained rice.

No rice in the world is like Minute Rice, a over processed food-like product made from rice.
