Could I get some recommendations for an all-inclusive four or five star hotel in Costa Rica?

The Fiesta Resort & Casino is ranked #3 out of all Puntarenas resorts, so you might want to consider there.

The Barcelo resort chain is very popular right now, and they have a couple of places there to choose from:

Try the paradisius playa de cochal. Pretty good for about 3 days. After that the resort gets soft of run of the mill. It’s a 4 star but the drinks watered down and only one beer selection ( a heavy beer) gets old. Might want to venture out if you are staying more than a few days.

I have never stayed there, but, supposedly, Paradisus Playa Conchal is the best of the best. I was on Playa Conchal briefly and it is really white and made of shells. But if you like waves you won’t like it, because it has no waves at all.
My husband and I stayed nearby, on Playa Flamingo, at Flamingo Beach Resort, and took the all-inclusive package. It was a wonderful hotel and beach!
