Costa Rica or cruise for honeymoon?

Author: Costa Rica seems beautiful and its less expensive, found a package for 1k includin airfare, but im worried about safety and the hassle it would be to fly there. I would want to enjoy nitelife but many say its not safe. The cruises are double but include food and would seem safer and there is plenty to do. It also seems easier to plan since costa rica i would have to do tours and look up nearby attractions. Overall which place is better?
Do a cruise to Costa rica. At first a cruise does seem more expensive, but when you include, at least about $150 a day for food, then renting a car, I would best a cruise is cheaper. Now a Panama canal cruise goes to Costa Rica and many other places, so you could have it all. Cruises are safe. You will have no worries about where to eat, where to go, and what to do as all of that is prearranged. With cruising you can set up shore excursion in advance so you know exactly what you will be doing the next day Nothing is more fun and relaxing then a cruise. BTW, loved Costa Rica and to this day, still buy my coffee there(cafe Britt, they ship).

Have you been to the Caribbean or Central America? If not, I would definitely recommend the cruise. It’s a good way to get a taste of many different ports and decide which one you like enough to spend a week.
You have to be careful going out at night in most large cities in Mexico/Caribbean/Central America. They really range from "common sense," like you would use in a large American city at night, to "deadly." San Jose is probably somewhere in the middle.

Costa Rica is a beautiful place, but if I were to choose a city to visit in central america it would be Panama City, Panama. First of all, the currency is the american dollar, so that wouldn’t be a problem. Second, Panama has the largest economy in central america. Third, it also has that rainforest-and-beach style Costa Rica is famous for, plus the Panama Canal which is so interesting and definitely worth it!
But for a honey moon, I’d say cruise. It’s more comfortable, has more luxuries and are really fun and romantic!!
