where can i find a tour that could take me to costa rica?

Author: i want to go to costa rica as solo and i want to take a tour to go along with from los angeles but i don’t know where to look for it.i want a tour including a airfair.
i also was thinking maybe i could buy a package myself including hotel and airfair and go around by myself when i get there which one is better?
any suggestion?
I would go by myself. That was how I did it on a surf tour I went on and it was great. I check out alot of companies but I ended up using a company called Tico Travel. Mostly because the did surf packages but I think they also do general pacakges as well. When I did my trip I just got airfare and a car and found my hotels when I got there which was no problem.

There are all kind of tour packages out there: adventure, surf, beach and sun, etc.
You need to decide your travel style and what activities you would like to do.
Some tour companies offer prearranged groups, others will offer really cheap trips that are basically a bunch of day tours lumped together where you are never with the same group of people.
